Not only does this area form part of the route for the world´s largest timed cycle race, but it also boasts some of the city´s best mountain biking trails.

If it´s water that floats your boat, the Southern Peninsula provides some of the best surf spots and surf-ski, kayak and sailing routes. An additional feature of the False Bay coastline is its considerably warmer Indian Ocean water, which offers beach lovers a much more agreeable swimming experience all year round.

Every year from July to November, Southern Right Whales migrate to the warm waters of False Bay to calve their young. During this time, they can be spotted just metres off the Kalk Bay harbour wall and are regular visitors to Fish Hoek Bay.

Golf Clovelly Country Club offers outstanding facilities, while if you like to add some diversity to your drive, you´ll also find Steenberg and Westlake Golf Clubs nearby.

Hiking An abundance of nature trails and rock-climbing routes can be found in the area.

The Design

Space, light and order - the three elements considered by Le Corbusier to be as equally vital to living as bread or a place to sleep.

With these elements in mind, LVM has designed One on Peak to exist in harmony with its natural surroundings. North facing and split levelled, the aim was to incorporate the natural aspect as a design element and to minimise the impact of construction on the natural slope of the land.

Living spaces have been designed to maximise the panoramic views and to allow as much natural light as possible.

NB: These following pictures closely reflect the standard finishes for One on Peak. However, alternate customisations are available.

The interior finishes are in keeping with the organically contemporary exterior, and include:
